Police department increased to 199 officers, the largest police force in 18 years 73 officers have been hired or promoted in Mayor Joshi’s term.

Led the charge on the statewide crime bill passage. S-3006/3204, increase penalties for juveniles who commit home invasions and burglaries.

Hired 42 new firefighters bringing the total number of firefighters to 138

Stabilized Taxes & Prioritized Affordability

Stabilizing Taxes brought the first tax decrease since 1988. While expanding services to the community.

Breaking up the internet monopoly in town by allowing Xfinity/Comcast to provide internet services.

Bringing in $19 Million in Federal, State, and Local grant money for projects and programs across the township.

Improved Infrastructure

Improving safety and efficiency in over 20(24 total) Intersections through the townships engineering department.

Building a brand new Recycling Center and Sewage facility.

Securing 1.6 million for EV passenger vehicles to facilitate the Light Transit Program currently being put together.

Expanded Access to Parks & Recreation

Making improvements and upgrades to all 32 parks in Edison.

Improving 28 courts/ 10 Basketball Courts, 5 pickleball courts, 4 tennis courts, 9 sand volleyball courts.

Building a new football field at central ave and a new baseball field at Papaianni Park.

Stood Up for Seniors

Bringing back the Mr. Fix-It program. Providing nearly 3,000(2756 total) repairs since 2022.

Making transportation accessible for seniors by bringing back the Senior Transportation Program. Providing nearly 15,000(14,801 total).
