Woodbridge Avenue Special Improvement District

As Mayor, Sam Joshi will redevelop Woodbridge Avenue into a thriving, historical neighborhood. The opt-in plan of a Special Improvement District would offer grants to business owners to renovate their buildings. Restaurants and walking areas will be a core goal of the ‘S.I.D.’ A similar plan was used by Metuchen to redevelop their downtown. This plan would take 2 years to complete and would increase property values significantly in surrounding areas.
